The Hispanic Affairs Project makes every effort to assist individuals and families to ensure their health and well-being. Due to limited services for those whose primary language is Spanish, our Community Advocates help provide information about local health and family services, wage theft, workman’s compensation claims, and other legal support. Immigration legal assistance, support in navigating local court and immigration systems, referrals, and connecting people to community resources are some of the ways that we assist our communities.
HAP fills an important need in the community through its Immigration Legal Assistance Program. We support eligible individuals with initial DACA application and renewal, adjustment of status applications, application for naturalization or for lawful permanent residency. HAP’s accredited representative can help applicants complete their immigration processes and represent individuals before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
